Job summary

A leading international industrial services provider in the United Kingdom is seeking a Site Painting Supervisor to lead and motivate a painting team. You will be responsible for ensuring adherence to procedures, managing safety compliance, and creating work orders via Maximo. Ideal candidates will have NACE or ICorr Level 2 certification and over 5 years of experience in a similar role. This is a full-time position with a 37.5-hour working week and opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

  • NACE or ICorr Coating Inspection Level 2 minimum is essential.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role is required.
  • IRATA Rope Access certification is desirable but training can be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the site painting team while providing supervision.
  • Ensure adherence to company and client procedures.
  • Create work orders and manage planning using Maximo.
  • Conduct active safety monitoring during operations.
  • Submit daily progress reports to site manager.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Lead and motivate site painting team, providing Supervision and Paint Inspection support
  • Ensure company and client procedures/specifications are implemented and adhered to.
  • Maximo – Creating work orders, planning and progress updating.
  • Nexus – Digital Quality reporting.
  • Carry out active monitoring to ensure operations are being carried out inline with company safety management system.
  • Operating various destructive and non-destructive paint testing equipment.
  • Submit daily progress reports to site manager.
  • Scope FM Work orders and arrange Equipment, Materials and Consumables for task.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

ESSENTIAL:

  • NACE or ICorr Coating Inspection Level 2 Minimum.
  • 5+ years in a similar role.

DESIRABLE:

  • IRATA Rope Access (Training can be provided, must be willing to train)

WORKING HOURS
  • 37.5 hours working week Monday to Thursday, with the possibility of Overtime.
  • Working hours are 07:00 to 17:00 Monday to Wednesday and 07:00 to 16:30 on a Thursday.
  • Overtime rates are paid at OT1 (x1.5) and OT2 (x2)
