Observational Scientist - Pharmaceuticals - 12-Month Contract

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Doctorate in Epidemiology, Statistics, Genetic Epidemiology or other subject with high epidemiologic content
2. Experience in the design, execution, and analysis of epidemiology studies within Pharmaceutical or Public Health setting
3. Experience in research to support drug development
4. Experience with large databases such as MDV, JMDC or DeSC
5. Experience in epidemiological project planning and management
6. Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams
7. Record of publication in peer-reviewed journals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for writing of SAPs
2. Contributes to projects using real-world healthcare data assets
3. Guiding the analysts to explore RWD
4. Contributes to research strategy within the product team and epidemiology TA
5. Provides input into epidemiology department meetings
6. Stays abreast of the latest developments in the field of epidemiology and drug development, healthcare RWD and contributes to the field
7. Promotes epidemiologic awareness
8. Promotes understanding and use of RWD and epidemiologic methods
9. Communicate significant scientific information to a variety of audiences
