A leading NHS Foundation Trust in Ipswich is seeking a Specialist Biomedical Scientist to join their Haematology & Blood Transfusion team. The ideal candidate will have completed their haematology specialist portfolio and will be responsible for maintaining accreditation, training junior staff, and managing laboratory investigations. East Suffolk & North Essex NHS Foundation Trust have an exciting opportunity for a Specialist Biomedical Scientist to join us in Haematology & Blood Transfusion at Ipswich Hospital.
It is a friendly and busy MHRA and UKAS compliant hospital laboratory committed to the training and development of staff. We are IBMS accredited for registration and specialist portfolios.
Applicants must have completed their haematology specialist portfolio. Once competent, experienced staff will participate in the out of hours roster which attracts a night rate enhancement for lone working.
We are equipped with Grifols, Sysmex XNs and ACL TOPS analysers. Our LIMS is Lab Centre. Previous working knowledge of these technologies would be an advantage.
