A healthcare organization in the United Kingdom is seeking Domestic Services staff to ensure cleanliness and safety in hospital areas. The role requires good communication skills, a polite demeanor, and the ability to manage a range of cleaning tasks. Benefits include flexible working hours, annual leave, and NHS pension. Domestics have an important role in making sure that all areas in our Hospital are clean and safe for our staff to care for our patients. Their duties include: Dusting, using spray/liquid cleaners, cleaning hard floors with mops or electric floor cleaners, using vacuum cleaners or carpet cleaners & cleaning toilet and bathroom areas.
Domestics are responsible for routine cleaning to be done on a daily and/or weekly basis as well as any emergencies such as spills. They are also responsible for carrying out regular, planned deep cleaning on a monthly or annual basis.
Domestics are responsible for cleaning in non-clinical (offices) and clinical (wards/clinics) areas within the hospital based on Fountain Street.
You will need good communication skills and you should have a helpful & polite manner when interacting with patients & relatives. You will need to show dignity and respect to our staff and patients when cleaning on the wards and clinics.

Please note that whilst the trust does offer sponsorship this role is unfortunately not eligible for visa sponsorship under the UK Health and Care Worker visa route. This is due to the position not meeting the minimum salary threshold of £25,000 per annum and/or the required skill level set by UK Visas and Immigration.
