  • An expert understanding of current drinking water regulation at local, national and European level.
  • Experience in leading a technical function with a proven track record of driving sustainable performance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and innovative thinking.

Responsabilités

  • Liaise with DWI and health protection stakeholders on public health issues.
  • Ensure adequate provision of expert knowledge on water quality issues.
  • Resolve high-priority water quality incidents and emergencies.
  • Develop audits and sampling programmes for regulatory compliance.
  • Represent Yorkshire Water at national bodies for water quality matters.
