A leading health and safety consultancy in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager for their East Harling operation. You will be responsible for managing onsite health and safety policies and ensuring compliance with legislation. The ideal candidate has prior experience in a similar role and a NEBOSH General Certificate. This role offers a competitive salary and the chance to lead safety improvements in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Health & Safety Manager or similar role.
- NEBOSH General Certificate is essential.
- Strong understanding of H&S legislation and best practice.
Responsabilités
- Managing all onsite Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Carrying out risk assessments, audits, and inspections.
- Leading accident/incident investigations and implementing corrective actions.
- Keeping all documentation up to date (RAMS, COSHH, accident reports).
- Delivering training, inductions, and toolbox talks.
- Working with managers to embed a strong safety culture.
- Ensuring full compliance with UK H&S legislation.

Salary: 40,000 – 45,000
I’m working with a well‑established client who is looking to appoint an experienced Health & Safety Manager to take full responsibility for safety, compliance, and site standards at their East Harling operation. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands‑on and leading safety improvements across a busy, fast‑moving environment.
As the Health & Safety Manager, you’ll be the site’s key contact for all H&S matters. You’ll work closely with operational teams to maintain a safe working environment, ensure compliance with legislation, and drive continuous improvement.
- Managing all onsite Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Carrying out risk assessments, audits, and inspections
- Leading accident/incident investigations and implementing corrective actions
- Keeping all documentation up to date (RAMS, COSHH, accident reports)
