Job summary

A leading research institute located in Norwich is seeking a motivated individual for a full-time Health & Safety role. The position involves supporting the implementation of health and safety policies, ensuring compliance, and working collaboratively with various teams. The ideal candidate must have a level 3 qualification in Occupational Health & Safety and strong IT skills. The salary range is £28,890 to £35,670 depending on qualifications and experience, with a 12-month contract.

Qualifications

  • Must have a Level 3 qualification in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent experience.
  • Good knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation and compliance standards is essential.
  • Experience supporting HSEQ management systems, document control, or compliance monitoring is required.

Responsibilities

  • Support implementation of the NBIP Health & Safety policy and arrangements.
  • Review and update HSEQ and H&S Facilities-related documentation.
  • Coordinate with Facilities team and support HSEQ programmes across institutes.

Knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation
Experience with document management systems
