Job summary
A housing association in Islington is seeking an experienced Repairs Inspector to oversee the delivery of a high-quality repairs service. You will conduct inspections, monitor contractor performance, and ensure repairs are completed to high standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in housing repairs and the ability to produce clear reports. This contract offers a competitive hourly rate and potentially flexible working arrangements.
Qualifications
- Experience working within a housing repairs environment, carrying out inspections.
- Strong technical knowledge of specifications and defect diagnosis.
- Experience managing contractors and performance monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Support management of responsive repairs and planned/cyclical referrals.
- Carry out pre- and post-inspections ensuring quality standards.
