A healthcare organization is looking for a registered Clinical Psychologist to join their Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Team in Dewsbury, England. The role involves providing psychological assessments and interventions to mothers experiencing mental health issues during pregnancy and postpartum. Applicants should have relevant qualifications, excellent communication skills, and a driving license. This position offers extensive training opportunities and support in the perinatal field.
The South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is pleased to offer an exciting opportunity to join our Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Team. You will work in Huddersfield, covering the local area, and may need to travel across the Trust’s footprint on an ad‑hoc basis as we provide a trust‑wide service to help manage capacity and demand.
Recruitment will be at band 7 or 8a depending on experience, with support from a Principle Clinical Psychologist and specialist supervision. We offer preceptorship for those wishing to develop expertise in the perinatal field, and opportunities to undertake further training in specialist interventions or therapies.
