A leading construction consultancy in Birmingham is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a pivotal role in the National Grid’s Great Grid Upgrade. This fully remote position offers competitive salary and benefits, with opportunities to shape commercial strategy on nationally significant energy infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a BSc in Quantity Surveying, significant experience with NEC3 / NEC4 contracts, and strong leadership skills to mentor junior team members.
We are supporting a leading, independent construction consultancy that specialises in delivering major infrastructure programmes across the UK. The consultancy has a strong reputation for high-profile projects in the energy, utilities, nuclear, and industrial sectors, providing commercial management, cost consultancy, and project management expertise on complex multi-million-pound programmes.
They are currently recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the National Grid’s Great Grid Upgrade – the largest overhaul of the UK electricity network in generations. This programme is part of National Grid’s £30bn investment across England and Wales over the next four years, connecting renewable energy sources to homes and businesses, modernising critical electrical infrastructure, and supporting the UK’s transition to net zero.
