Job summary
A reputable manufacturing company is seeking a fully qualified Litho Printer to join their team in Lancashire on a temporary contract. The ideal candidate should have experience on a Heidelberg Press and print finishing knowledge. We have a great opportunity for a positive team player with a can‑do attitude to join a well‑established, highly reputable manufacturing company. They are looking to appoint a fully qualified and experienced 5 colour litho printer on a temporary contract.
The ideal candidate will have experience on a Heidelberg Press and print finishing experience / knowledge.
Principal duties and responsibilities for this 5 colour litho printer role will include :
- Ensure maximum potential output and quality is achieved, including setup and permanent adjustment of colour.
- Maintenance of equipment to the highest level for optimum performance and working areas are kept tidy.
- Health & Safety legislations are met and Company’s standards are adhered to.
- Work with the print room to continuously improve process efficiency, eliminating unnecessary costs from the business and keeping waste to a minimum.
- Communicate maintenance / breakdown requirements to service personnel / Production Manager.
- Liaise with Production Manager, team members and Dept Managers as required.
- Active involvement in staff training and development as required.
