Warehouse Operative/Machine Assistant (FLT Driver) Leamington Spa Competitive Salary DOE

Due to a period of growth, our client are seeking a Warehouse Operative/Machine Assistant to join their rapidly growing production team. In this hands‑on role, you’ll support the Machine Operator in running the digital print line efficiently, as well as manage warehouse duties such as banding, wrapping, labelling, and materials handling.

You’ll work a mixture of days and nights, on a weekly rotating basis. (Week one: 4x 12 hour day shifts. Week 2: 3x 12 hour night shifts) and a forklift licence is essential for this role.

The Role
  • Assist the Digital Print Line Operator to maintain steady output and ensure production targets are met.
  • Support in maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working area around the machine.
  • Band, wrap, and label finished goods ready for dispatch.
  • Operate a forklift truck to move raw materials, feed production machines, and load/unload delivery vehicles.
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping and care of the forklift truck.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to take on other operational tasks as needed.
The Person
  • Valid Forklift Truck Licence (essential).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to follow written instructions accurately.
  • Keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high‑quality standards.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment is desirable.
