30 hours per week working Monday to Sunday, 9‑hour shifts, 7:30am‑5pm, split across two sites weekly. One in 3 weekends. No nights.

• Work together at each stage of the patient journey, supporting them as they arrive into prison (Early Days in Custody Team), delivering the care they need, promoting good health and supporting resettlement (Planned Care Team) and responding to urgent and emergency needs (Unscheduled Care Team).
• Provide clinical leadership for the Primary Care team and be a critical leader within the scheduled care team, a multi‑disciplinary team of registered nurses, doctors and mental health/substance misuse practitioners.
• Deliver face‑to‑face care and provide safe and effective health assessments and treatment of patients.
• Be accountable for your own practice, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment and discharge or referral of patients, independent of medical intervention.
• Lead senior clinical work in complex wounds, long‑term conditions and QoF management.

• Registered Nurse: Adult Nursing with current NMC registration.
• Experience working autonomously as a clinical practitioner following best practice guidance and identifying risk to patients through sound use of clinical expertise.
• Knowledge of clinical audit and research.
• Knowledge of statutory safeguarding requirements for adults and children.
• Willingness to innovate and embrace learning through continued professional development and the practical application of new skills in the workplace.
• Expert clinical skills and demonstrable judgement in assessing and managing a wide range of complex patient problems.
• Experience in a hospital, community or prison environment is desirable.

This part‑time position offers an annual salary of £36,211 to £40,211 per annum FTE, depending on experience. Candidates are required to have a legal right to work in the UK, and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.
