Pro Global is seeking a data-centric, analytical, and enthusiastic analyst to join our technology team on an initial 3-month fixed-term contract.
Working primarily with enterprise clients focused on the Microsoft ecosystem, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. There will also be opportunities to learn about other Microsoft products such as Dynamics, SharePoint, and additional vendors like Slack.
This role mainly requires experience with PowerApps and Power Automate but will also involve supporting the IT function with non-standard applications.
The position is on a hybrid basis, split between home and our UK office.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building your career as a technical expert in PowerApps, with potential to gain industry-recognized certifications.
- Gaining a deep understanding of technology and project management principles, including customizations, configurations, integrations, limitations, and dependencies across various solutions.
- Working as part of a growing technology team within a leading insurance consultancy to deliver innovative solutions for internal and external clients.
What we are looking for:
Must have:
- Experience with PowerApps, including working with business units to gather requirements and develop technical specifications following best practices.
- Ability to build PowerApps adhering to best practices, especially Canvas Apps and Component Libraries.
- Experience in supporting and building apps to resolve specific business problems.
- SharePoint site creation and management skills.
- Ability to train and guide others in development.
- Understanding of data lifecycle, transformation, and data warehousing.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Project workload management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience with Power Automate, including creating flows, writing expressions, and using connectors and REST APIs.
- Understanding of data cleaning, transformation, and modeling.
Nice to have (not essential):
- Experience with Power BI.
- Knowledge of Access Management within Power BI and RLS.
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications.
- Understanding of the broader Microsoft stack, including SharePoint, Dynamics, Dataverse, Azure, and Data Factory.
- Programming background or low-code development experience.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas and VBA.
