Are you an enthusiastic and adaptable educator looking for a rewarding long-term opportunity? We are seeking a committed Cover Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Dudley on a permanent basis.
Position: Cover Teacher
Location: Dudley
Pay: £100 per day
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
As a Cover Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects to secondary students. You will ensure classes run smoothly in the absence of the regular teacher, maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.
- Deliver pre-set lessons to classes across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Maintain classroom control and a positive learning atmosphere
- Support students with their learning and behaviour
- Follow school policies and procedures
- Provide feedback to teaching staff after cover lessons
- Previous experience working in a secondary school setting
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Confidence teaching across a range of subjects
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred, but not essential
- Suitable for Cover Supervisors or experienced Teaching Assistants ready to step up
- Permanent, secure position in a welcoming and well-managed school
- Competitive daily rate of £100
