Role

Primary SEND Teacher – KS1 Primary Mainstream School (SEND Provision) ASC | Speech & Language | MLD Full‑Time

January Start – Ongoing Location: Camden

We are working on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive primary mainstream school to recruit a Primary SEND Teacher for their KS1 SEND provision. This full‑time role supports pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), speech and language needs, and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD). This is an excellent opportunity for a primary teacher with a passion for inclusive education, SEND, and speech and language development to make a real impact within a supportive school environment.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver high‑quality, adapted primary lessons for pupils with ASC, speech and language needs, and MLD.
  • Differentiate the primary curriculum to meet individual learning and communication needs.
  • Use targeted speech and language strategies to support communication, interaction, and understanding.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants, the SENCo, and external professionals including speech and language therapists.
  • Lead the classroom team, ensuring consistent and effective SEND support.
  • Create a calm, structured, and inclusive KS1 learning environment.
