Job Title: Vehicle Technician
Location: Basildon, Essex
Salary: £38,000.00 - £42,000.00 per year plus overtime
Hours: 07:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday

- Carrying out inspections to DVSA standards
- Performing general service, maintenance, and repair work on a variety of vehicles
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults using both general and manufacturer-specific diagnostic tools
- Attending occasional offsite jobs for diagnostics, inspections, and minor repairs
- Ensuring high standards of workmanship, safety, and housekeeping at all times
- Recognised qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of relevant mechanical experience
- A full UK driving licence (required)
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and IT skills for workshop systems
- A proactive attitude, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A willingness to learn and keep up with changing vehicle technologies
07:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday
