Job summary
A healthcare organization in Walsall is seeking a Pharmacy Care Group Manager to oversee service delivery, manage budget analysis, and ensure compliance with quality standards. The ideal candidate will lead a team, engage in project management, and contribute to strategic planning initiatives. Responsibilities include performance metrics analysis and collaboration on service development. This role offers a salary of £50,952 to £57,349 per year and requires full-time commitment.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for the effective and efficient service delivery.
- Ensure processes align with quality standards and indicators.
- Project management for ongoing and future projects.
- Oversight of operational functions within the department.
- Achievement of performance and quality targets.
- Management of an Administrative and Clerical team.
- Collaboration with Operations on Business Continuity Plans.
- Development of business cases for projects or service improvement.
- Budget management and analysis.
- Review and authorization of requisitions for non-drug expenditure.
- Assurance of Key Performance Indicators.
- Reporting on Model Hospital Key Performance Indicators.
- Membership in the Divisional Board.
- Comprehensive management of administrative functions.
- Support in the business aspects of Pharmacy procurement.
The Pharmacy Care Group Manager, reporting to the Chief Pharmacist, holds delegated responsibilities encompassing:

- Review and authorization of requisitions for non-drug expenditure.
- Assurance of Key Performance Indicators with trend analysis and improvement recommendations.
- Reporting on Model Hospital Key Performance Indicators to Quality Improvement.
- Membership in the Divisional Board.
- Comprehensive management of administrative and clerical functions within the department.
- Support in the business aspects of Pharmacy procurement, business, and strategic planning.
