Job summary
A prominent law firm in Manchester is seeking an experienced Housing Disrepair Solicitor to manage a caseload of claims from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have strong drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills, alongside a commitment to client care. This full-time position offers a competitive basic salary of up to £55,000, dependent on experience, along with a generous commission scheme. - 3+ years' PQE/CILEX preferred, but qualified by experience also considered.
- Proven experience handling housing disrepair or civil litigation matters.
- Strong knowledge of pre-action protocols, CPR, and evidential requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of Housing Disrepair claims from cradle to grave.
- Conduct legal research and provide clear, accurate legal advice to clients.
- Prepare and draft key legal documentation, including pleadings and correspondence.
- Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to secure positive case outcomes.
