A prominent educational institution in Birmingham is seeking a Learning Support Co-ordinator to assist the Deputy Director in administering and providing learning support for high needs students. The ideal candidate will have relevant teaching experience, strong communication skills, and be capable of modifying teaching materials. Responsibilities include in-class support, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with safeguarding protocols. This role requires collaboration with staff to enhance educational outcomes for all learners.

The main purpose of this post is to support the Deputy Director/Assistant Director/Lead Co-ordinator for Student Services in all aspects of the admissions, assessment, administration and allocation of additional learning support for learners including high needs learners. The post holder will also provide in class support to learners where applicable and have supervisory responsibility for support staff.
