A leading further education institution in Sheffield is seeking a People Advisor to support the People Business Partners by resolving people queries and providing managerial support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR and excellent communication skills. Salary ranges from £32,523 to £36,566 per annum with benefits such as enhanced pension contributions and a generous annual leave policy. The closing date for applications is January 5, 2026.

As a People Advisor you will be responsible for supporting the People Business Partners to deliver the people strategy across the College and proactively take steps to resolve people queries, wherever possible identifying informal resolutions and ideally solutions that meet the requirements of all parties. You will be required to support managers in case meetings and hearings up to and including dismissals whilst also undertaking analysis on key data identifying trends and areas for focus.
You will provide advice and support to Line Managers on policies and procedures and best practice as well as coaching Managers through particular situations. You will be required to liaise closely with union representatives, managers and people operations teams to ensure the smooth delivery of people experience services.
As the successful candidate, you will be offered a salary of between £32,523 - £36,566 per annum based upon a combination of the skills, knowledge and experience that you can bring to the role.
