Planning and implementing the kind of care that gives our residents a real sense of security, dignity and independence. You’ll influence the care team by demonstrating best practice, whether it’s teaching a resident to use a walking frame, supporting a person at the end of life to eat a meal or communicating with a resident’s family.

• Lead a team of Care Assistants, setting and maintaining the highest standards of care.
• Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in delivering physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities.
• Administer medication and keep accurate records of care activities.
• Build strong relationships with residents, families and the multidisciplinary team.
• Support residents in achieving person‑centred care plans and promote independence.
• Work full‑time (38.5 hours per week) and progress toward Level 3 qualification in Adult Social Care, where required.

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. You must recognise signs of potential abuse, harm or neglect, know what to do if concerns arise, attend safeguarding training appropriate to your role and report any concerns with the option for escalation.

• S/NVQ or Diploma Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care
• Experience in dementia or person‑centred care planning (preferred)

• Positive energy and natural ability to get along with people.
• Strong record‑keeping skills and effective time management.
• Compassionate and considerate communication with residents and colleagues.
