In this role you will:

We are seeking a Platform Engineer to assist in optimizing our software delivery process. You will work closely with development and operations teams to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines. Your role will involve automating builds, deployments, and testing, as well as troubleshooting pipeline issues and integrating quality assurance tools. You will also help maintain documentation and ensure smooth system operations. This is a great opportunity to grow your skills in CI/CD and DevOps practices while contributing to the success of our software projects.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with development and operations teams to understand software requirements and deployment needs.
• Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to automate software builds, deployments, and testing.
• Contribute to the configuration and management of infrastructure-as-code tools, such as Jenkins, Terraform, GitHhub Actions, or similar.
• Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline failures, identifying issues and implementing corrective actions.
• Support the integration of automated testing, code analysis, and quality assurance tools into the CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in code reviews, providing insights into best practices for maintaining clean and efficient pipelines.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Document processes, procedures, and pipeline configurations to ensure knowledge sharing and standardization.
• Best effort to keep 24/7 systems running

The skills we would love to see in your suitcase!

• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Argo CD ...).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Basic understanding of infrastructure-as-code principles using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Exposure to security best practices in CI/CD pipelines.
• Prior exposure to Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
