About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Information Security Manager to ensure the security and resilience of our client's IT systems and data. As a client-facing professional, you will develop, implement, and manage security frameworks, policies, and protocols, acting as the main point of contact for cybersecurity matters.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining security policies and procedures aligned with standards like ISO 27001 and legal requirements such as GDPR.
- Conducting risk assessments, managing vulnerabilities, and leading incident response efforts.
- Collaborating with client teams to implement security solutions and providing regular security reports.
- Leading security audits, penetration testing, and staff training to promote security awareness.
Experience required:
- 5+ years in information security management or a related field, preferably in an MSP or client-facing environment.
- Strong knowledge of UK and international regulations including GDPR, Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001.
- Experience with security technologies and practices such as SIEM, firewalls, vulnerability management, and penetration testing.
- Excellent communication skills and relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA) are highly desirable.
