A local educational organization in Peterborough is seeking a Music Hub and Centre for Young Musicians Administrator to provide administrative support and engage with various stakeholders. This hybrid role requires strong communication and workload management skills. The position is fixed term until August 2026, with potential for extension, and includes flexible working opportunities.
Peterborough Music Hub is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, passionate and motivated Music Hub and Centre for Young Musicians Administrator to join our small core internal team working with an extended music education workforce and stakeholders across the city.
The Peterborough Music Hub and Centre for Young Musicians Administrator will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Music Hub and Centre for Young Musicians. They will play a key part in communicating with stakeholders including parents, schools, tutors, partner organisations and colleagues.
The successful applicant will report to the Music Hub Officer and work closely and support both them and the Head of Peterborough Music Hub & Centre for Young Musicians to deliver the Music Hub business and activity plans.

The position is a hybrid of working from home, at Ormiston Bushfield Academy (for PCYM), at Sand Martin House and visiting schools/other locations as required.
The post holder will be required to work 33 x Saturdays at The Peterborough Centre for Young Musicians CIC from 7:30am-2pm at Ormiston Bushfield Academy, with one day off in lieu during the week for these periods. Other flexible working times including evenings and weekends will also be required.
The post is available as a job share and is initially fixed term to 31st August 2026 with the possibility of extension in line with securing ongoing grant funding.
