Job summary
A leading provider of marine engine services is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer based in the UK. The role involves performing diagnostics and repairs on marine diesel engines, including overhauls at various locations including ports and shipyards. Successful candidates will have experience with diesel engine systems and must be willing to travel extensively within the UK and internationally. This is a full-time position with opportunities for professional growth and advancement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in marine engine maintenance and repair.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems and components.
- Valid UK driving license and willingness to work offshore when required.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and complete overhauls on marine diesel engines.
- Commission engines and conduct performance/load testing.
- Provide technical support and maintain communication with clients.
