The Fleet & Logistics Planner is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of business operations. The role is responsible for scheduling and planning delivery/collection routes and assisting with the day‑to‑day operational management of the driving team.
- Plan and schedule vehicle routes to maximise efficiency and ensure timely completion.
- Allocate drivers and vehicles in line with operational needs and legal requirements (e.g. drivers' hours, Working Time Directive).
- Liaise with customers, drivers, and internal departments to maintain high service levels.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and health and safety legislation.
- Assist with the training and development of the drivers.
- Demonstrate exemplary customer focus and provide enthusiastic and informed support.
- Previous route planning (UK Wide) experience is essential
