What You Will Do

The Fleet & Logistics Planner is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of business operations. The role is responsible for scheduling and planning delivery/collection routes and assisting with the day‑to‑day operational management of the driving team.

How You Will Do It
  • Plan and schedule vehicle routes to maximise efficiency and ensure timely completion.
  • Allocate drivers and vehicles in line with operational needs and legal requirements (e.g. drivers' hours, Working Time Directive).
  • Liaise with customers, drivers, and internal departments to maintain high service levels.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and health and safety legislation.
  • Assist with the training and development of the drivers.
  • Demonstrate exemplary customer focus and provide enthusiastic and informed support.
What Do You Need To Be Successful
  • Previous route planning (UK Wide) experience is essential
  • High levels of attention to detail
  • Good Geographical knowledge
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Packages and Route Planning software
  • A welcoming, friendly, positive and outgoing manner
  • Some knowledge of the fleet and leasing industry an advantage
