As a Supply Chain Manager, you will be:
- Overseeing budget planning, costings and financial reports to see potential savings for the housing and maintenance teams
- Tracking and managing budgets versus actual spend, ensuring contract compliance and monthly review of invoices
- Supporting material and contractor costs to ensure spend is kept within budget
- Leading on material procurement with agreed tendering policies, authorised within financial regulations
- Administering contracts with external suppliers
- Developing and delivering procurement strategies, and review and maintain a catalogue management system for all suppliers
- Working with the operational teams to assist in the management of van stock
I’d love to speak to anyone who has:
- Proven commercial experience within housing or building maintenance
- Experience managing supply chain, and a track record delivering value for money savings and service improvements
- Contract management experience
- Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
- Understanding of public sector procedure and procurement frameworks
Qualifications:
- Ideally MCIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) or equivalent
- Strong background in overseeing commercial operations across social housing or maintenance services.
- Skilled in handling multiple contract formats from inception to completion.
