About the Role

White Horse Employmentare working exclusively with a leading business in the manufacturing and packaging supply chain sector to recruit a Supply Chain & Compliance Coordinator.

This role plays a key part in coordinating logistics, managing customer relationships, and supporting quality and compliance standards.

You’ll work closely with customers and partners across the UK, EU, and USA, ensuring smooth logistics operations, accurate documentation, and adherence to industry regulations. It’s a varied, hands‑on position that suits someone with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain & Logistics
  • Plan and coordinate collections and deliveries across UK, EU, and international customers.
  • Liaise with clients and transport partners to schedule movements, resolve issues, and track consignments.
  • Manage import/export documentation and ensure compliance with customs procedures.
  • Maintain accurate asset tracking and data management across internal systems.
  • Support order processing and warehouse coordination when required.
Customer Service & Account Support
  • Act as a key point of contact for customers, ensuring swift and professional responses to queries.
  • Manage orders from enquiry through to completion, maintaining high service standards.
  • Build product knowledge to confidently discuss technical details with clients.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
  • Support ongoing accreditation and quality management processes (e.g., BRC, ISO).
  • Maintain documentation for QA, health & safety, and environmental standards.
  • Assist in audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills & Experience
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Confident IT user, proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in logistics, supply chain, or customer service roles.
  • Understanding of compliance and quality systems (advantageous).
  • Knowledge of international transport or pallet network operations (beneficial but not essential).
