Job summary
A leading manufacturing company based in Elton, UK, is seeking a Logistics and Delivery Performance Manager. The ideal candidate will lead operational improvements in logistics, focusing on carrier relationships and delivery performance. Responsibilities include monitoring late deliveries, managing freight relationships, and reporting on KPIs. A Bachelor's degree in Logistics and extensive freight forwarding experience are required. This role offers an opportunity to drive efficiency and innovation in the UK transport network.
Qualifications
- Strong background in UK freight forwarding.
- Extensive operational freight forwarding experience in delivery management.
- Advanced knowledge of Transport Management and Project Management.
Responsibilities
- Continuously track, monitor, and investigate late deliveries.
- Own all carrier/haulage and Freight company relationships.
- Regularly report on KPI status and work on performance improvements.
- Maximise load efficiencies and track equipment availability.
