Pulse is currently searching for an experienced Pediatric Speech and Language Therapist who can provide support, working part-time 2 days per week in a specialist pediatric clinic with children who have communication needs including speech delay/disorder, stammer, and autism. Full-time hours may also be available at other locations. This position is based in Ongar.

About the role:

As a Pediatric Speech and Language Therapist, you'll support students with autism and learning disabilities by assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication issues. Collaborating with educators, parents, and other therapists, you'll develop individualized plans to help each child reach their potential, improving both academic and daily interactions. This is a permanent position starting in June.

Your main responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose communication disorders, providing advice to professionals and families.
• Demonstrate specialist knowledge and therapeutic approaches autonomously.
• Deliver group and individual therapy sessions.
• Provide reports, advice, and therapy programs.
• Support families with advice and training for intervention management.

Qualifications:

• HCPC registration
• Experience working with children with communication needs
