A healthcare organization in Chichester is seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to manage a caseload in schools and community clinics. The successful candidate will assess children, provide therapy, and work collaboratively with other professionals. We are seeking a therapist who is ready to build on their previous B5/6 experience in schools and community clinics and is eager to make a positive contribution to our hardworking team.
Our vacancy includes 11.25 hours (0.3 WTE) Mainstream School sessions and 11.25 hours (0.3 WTE) Early Years/community clinic sessions. You will be led and supported by our experienced and approachable clinical leads who will share with you their passion for delivering clinical excellence. In addition to opportunities for CPD, we have well‑established supervision arrangements.
Potential interview date: 8th or 15th December 2026.
You will be responsible for managing your own caseload within identified mainstream schools and in the community clinic, providing assessment, therapy, advice and training as required. An ability to develop strong working relationships with education staff is essential and you will also have the opportunity to work closely with our SALTAs.

To provide advice to other professionals and parents in order to support the needs of children with speech, language and communication delay and disorder.
To liaise with other agencies and services e.g. schools, social care, and voluntary agencies.
To advise and provide clinical support to other therapists.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
