A leading health service provider in Wallasey is seeking a Clinical Assistant to join the children's speech and language therapy team. You will facilitate interventions, coordinate with schools, and provide clerical support. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills and experience in similar roles. This position offers a chance to work within a committed and diverse team, focusing on the well-being of children and young people.
The post holder will undertake clinical casework within the children's speech and language therapy team, working with a defined caseload, accountable to designated qualified speech and language therapists and with some autonomy in allocation of work. The assistant will have clerical and administrative duties as well as responsibility for room and equipment preparation.

English Language: In order to comply with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016, we are required to ensure that all employees possess “the ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence through the medium of English.” If you have not studied at an English speaking institute, or do not possess an English language qualification, you should provide evidence in your application of how you meet this requirement.
Salary Expectations: The Trust pays staff in line with national NHS Terms and Conditions. Relevant experience may be considered when salary offers are made. For all part-time positions, salaries are pro‑rata.
