A well-established fire protection contractor is seeking an experienced Estimator to provide quotations for fire door installation and other passive fire works. The role offers a salary of £45k per annum in Northampton. Ideal candidates will demonstrate their experience in building pricing documents and have the ability to work from schedules of rates. Key responsibilities include preparing estimates, managing client relationships, and mentoring junior estimators.

Conocimientos
Estimator – £45k/annum – Northampton
Our client, a well established fire protection contractor, are looking to bring in an experienced Estimator to provide quotations for fire door installation and remedial programs and other passive fire works.
It is desirable but not essential that you have a background in fire protection. It is essential however, that you can demonstrate your experience in building pricing documents and working from schedules of rates.
- Preparing accurate and timely quotations, estimates and costs plans for clients.
- Building and maintaining client relationships and identifying opportunities for new contracts.
- Securing targeted contract enquiries to meet the needs of the business.
- Enhancing existing knowledge through continuous professional development to fully understand current legislation attributable to our business.
- Mentoring and managing fellow estimators and trainee estimators to secure the best new contracts whilst providing technical solutions and advice to the team.
- Essential: you can demonstrate your experience in building pricing documents and working from schedules of rates.
- Desirable: background in fire protection.
