A construction services company is seeking an experienced Estimator for Roofing Systems to handle various roofing projects. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of estimating experience, strong numerical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients. - Deal with a range of roofing services across industrial, commercial and residential sectors.
- Review tender enquiries to gain an understanding of project requirements.
- Liaise with clients to acquire any additional information required.
Skills
Job Title: Estimator – Roofing Systems
Location: Eastbourne
Remuneration: £50,000 – £55,000
Benefits: Company vehicle, NEST pension & 20 days annual leaveSchedule: 08:00 – 17:00, Monday – Friday
- Deal with a range of roofing services across industrial, commercial and residential sectors such as flat roofing, metal & zinc roofing
- Review tender enquiries to gain an understanding of project requirements
- Liaise with clients to acquire any additional information required
- Work with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain competitive prices
- Produce formal quotations for clients
- Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations in an internal database
- Build and maintain relationships with contractors and vendors
- Prioritise workload to meet deadlines
- Minimum 5+ years estimating experience within the flat roofing or zinc roofing sector
- Understanding of Bluebeam software
- Sound knowledge of roofing and building legislation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong numerical skills
- IT literate (Microsoft Office, especially Excel)
- Confident and articulate individual
