About The Role

As our domestic joiner, youll be responsible for a wide variety of joinery tasks within occupied and void social housing properties. This role requires versatility, a strong customer focus, and a commitment to delivering excellent standards of repair and maintenance. Your key responsibilities will include:

• First Fix Joinery: Including timber framing, floor joists, roofing structures, and window/door frames as required.
• Second Fix Joinery: Installing doors, architraves, skirting boards, staircases, kitchen units, ironmongery, and various fixtures and fittings.
• Repairs and Maintenance: Diagnosing and rectifying joinery defects, undertaking reactive repairs, and planned maintenance tasks within residents homes.
• Customer Service: Interacting respectfully and professionally with residents, ensuring minimal disruption and clear communication.
• Working efficiently and cleanly, leaving properties tidy upon completion.
• Adhering strictly to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
  
  

Required Skills And Experience

• Proven and highly experienced as a domestic joiner.
• Experienced in social housing or similar residential maintenance environments.
• A valid CSCS card is essential for this role.
• Asbestos awareness and manual handling.
• Possesses excellent diagnostic and problem:solving skills for repairs.
• Has strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging positively with residents.
• Reliable, punctual, and highly motivated, with a strong work ethic.
• Committed to delivering high:quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.
