The Opportunity

We require an experienced Modular Joiner to join our client on a large contract, refurbishing Modular Units and Porta Cabins.

About the role

A Multi Skilled Modular Joiner is urgently required to join a forward thinking Modular/Offsite business based in the York area.

Main Duties

• Partitioning
• Sectioning Modular Units
• Using various joinery tools
• Reading joinery construction drawings
• Erecting stud timber walls
• Marking up timber walls
• Stripping and replacing floors
• 1st and 2nd fix joinery duties
• Plaster boarding
• Window and door fitting

Qualifications / Experience

• Minimum 2 years 1st and 2nd fix joinery experience
• Ideally NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Joinery and Carpentry
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure
• Can work as part of a team
• Can work independently and unsupervised if needed
• Ideally Modular Construction Experience
• Punctual, reliable and a hard worker
