Responsibilities

• Work as part of the Billing and Recovery team to manage billing and collection processes efficiently.
• Accurately determine liability for council tax, including eligibility for discounts, reliefs, and exemptions.
• Negotiate and monitor payment arrangements to maximize council tax collection.
• Deliver effective and appropriate services to all users, ensuring fairness and non-discrimination.

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate tax liability assessments.
• Excellent negotiation skills to facilitate payment arrangements.
• Commitment to providing equitable services to a diverse range of service users.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while being an effective team player.
