An exciting opportunity for a CRM Backend Engineer to join Monzo on a contract basis, working on a key project within their Marketing Engineering team. This is a well-regarded engineering environment where contractors speak highly of the culture – fast-paced but thoughtful, with strong ownership and clean, reliable systems.
As a CRM Backend Engineer, you’ll be helping to build out Monzo’s customer engagement capabilities using Braze – working on customer journeys, event triggers, and SDK integrations, while also contributing to backend services in Go, Java, or Python. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s collaborative, delivery-focused, and open to new ideas.
This is a great fit for someone with a strong background in Braze or similar CRM platforms, who’s confident writing production-ready backend code and wants to play a key role in shaping how Monzo communicates with its users.
If you’re a CRM-savvy Backend Engineer who enjoys combining customer impact with clean backend design, apply now – the team is ready to move quickly.
We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/belief, sexual orientation, or age.
