A leading technology firm in England is looking for a Director Product Manager to oversee the Grid Automation Protection & Control portfolio. This role involves driving strategy, managing product lifecycles, and collaborating with various stakeholders. Ideal candidates will have a Master's degree and extensive experience in product management and technology development, with excellent interpersonal skills. This position offers a remote working arrangement.
The "Grid Automation (GA) Protection & Control" Director Product Manager drives the overall business strategy of the GA mainstream products portfolio, focusing on market demand, product management, and technology differentiation. He/She will have direct responsibility over the product management and the technology development of a portfolio generating ~$1B revenues, leveraging a team of ~500 domain experts and optimizing the allocation of ~$50M of R&D spend. The leader will oversee the industrialization, go to market strategy, and commercial development of the portfolio, interacting with Grid Automation supply chain, regions, customers, and industry leaders. The leader will also interact within the broader GE Vernova, Electrification segment and Grid teams to maximize collaboration, cross businesses initiatives, impact, and performance.
