Overview

A Snapshot of Your Day

Ready to shape the future? Join our global team as an ambitious undergraduate, where you’ll gain real-world business and finance experience, earn a CIMA qualification, and rotate through three dynamic placements at our UK locations—become the decision-maker of tomorrow!

Working within our Business Units who manufacture, install and service some of the world’s largest construction projects, you will be provided with real experience and insight of a business and finance role, in a truly global company that “makes real what matters”.

We have roles available across various locations (Hull, Manchester, Lincoln, Newcastle and other UK locations) and you will report into the local Financial Controller or Commercial Manager. There will be three, 12-month rotational placements, that are varied and challenging.

How You’ll Make An Impact

As part of the program be fully funded through the CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) professional accountancy qualification that is recognized worldwide along with range of soft skill courses (such as project management and presentation skill) to ensure you are given the full toolbox to achieve your potential. Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to:

  • Monthly management reports and slides summarizing financial performance
  • Project Accounting
  • Commercial Project Management
  • Budgeting/Forecasting
  • Variance analysis – Forecast/Budget versus Actuals
  • Cost Controlling
  • Accounting Ledger maintenance
  • Ad-hoc reporting requirements

You will have the opportunity to work in a wide variety of Finance, Accounting and Commercial teams working in and across all of our Business Units. This can range from companywide Accounting and Controlling, Business Unit Operational Controlling, Project Specific Commercial Roles and much more.
