Vivid Resourcing are currently working with a District Council based in the South East of England whose expanding legal team are seeking to hire an interim planning solicitor on a 6 month rolling contract. Candidates must be available to start on full-time hours and be able to attend two planning committees each month; the position can be offered as fully remote.

• Provide planning solicitor support within a local authority setting.
• Attend two planning committees in person each month (where required).
• Advise on complex s106 agreements, reports, appeals and enforcement matters.
• Supervise and mentor more junior members of staff as needed.

• Previous experience working within a local authority setting.
• Extensive experience with complex s106s, reports, appeals and enforcement.
• Ability and willingness to supervise more junior staff.
• Availability to attend two planning committees in person each month.
