A leading global transport solutions provider is seeking a Key Accounts Manager for a field-based role across the UK. The candidate will develop and manage relationships with key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and maximizing sales opportunities. This position requires experience in high-value sales, strong negotiation skills, and a full UK driving licence. We are looking for a great Key Accounts Manager to join our highly successful team. This field-based role covers the whole of the UK so you will need a current driving license as well as a willingness to travel and stay away from home as needed.
We are a team of 6, with 5 KAMs covering the UK and reporting to the National Key Account Manager. Inconjunction with the National Key Account Manager, we establish an agreed business and action plan to identify and develop sales opportunities for our nominated accounts.
You will be responsible for developing and nurturing long-term relationships within a portfolio of nominated key accounts and prospects to ensure that RTUK is well-placed to maximise volumes and margins on vehicles in line with the current business plan. The relationship management is not limited to negotiations on sales, you will be actively involved in ensuring customer satisfaction across all aspects of the business relationship, by working closely with all other departments to ensure pro-active management of all business interactions and resolution.
Maintaining correct levels of contact with the respective dealers to provide professional support to the Key Accounts to ensure the highest standards of customer satisfaction are met. You will provide concise reports on all key Fleet activities including but not limited to, forward order predictions; market information; and the highlighting of potential sales opportunities.
Utilising the Company’s integrated suite of IT tools in an effective manner to ensure swift and accurate responses to requests for quotation and transfer through the sales “stages” to build, deliver and invoice.
Negotiating agreements with a portfolio of accounts and working collaboratively with other departments to meet customer needs.
Ensuring successful application and continued fulfilment of the agreements signed, in terms of delivery of the vehicles into service; securing the appropriate aftermarket support; evaluating customer satisfaction; developing and implementing corrective action plans where necessary.
