Responsibilities: As the Head of Platform, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and efficiency across our organization. Your key responsibilities will include:
Team Growth: Spearhead the expansion of our platform team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Best Practice Implementation: Introduce and champion industry best practices to enhance the overall performance and effectiveness of our platform.
Platform Development: Lead the development of a new platform from inception to implementation, ensuring scalability and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of our organization.
Cloud Migration and Kubernetes Expertise: Oversee the migration of our platform to the cloud (Azure, Multi Cloud) and manage on-premises Kubernetes infrastructure, optimizing performance and reliability.
Developer Experience Enhancement: Focus on improving the Developer Experience (DX) by implementing tools and processes that streamline workflows and boost productivity.
Advocacy for Modern Practices: Engage with developers to encourage the adoption of modern 'DevOps' practices and tools, facilitating a smooth transition to contemporary ways of working.
Cross-Team Communication: Effectively communicate and collaborate across different teams, fostering a cohesive and collaborative environment.
