A growing digital marketing agency is seeking a Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to oversee and drive its revenue strategy across all business units. Our mission is to deliver measurable growth and long‑term value through innovative marketing strategies that drive sustainable results. To accelerate our next stage of growth, we are seeking a Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to own and drive our revenue strategy across all business units.
As Chief Revenue Officer, you will be responsible for aligning and scaling all revenue‑generating functions, including sales, marketing, partnerships, and client success. You will define the revenue vision, implement strategies to increase client acquisition and retention, and ensure sustainable growth for the agency.
This is a senior leadership role that requires a strategic, data‑driven, and commercially minded leader with a proven track record in scaling revenue within digital or marketing services businesses.
Define and own the agency’s overall revenue strategy and roadmap.
Build, manage, and align the revenue organisation (sales, marketing, client success, partnerships).
Forecast, track, and report on revenue KPIs for the executive team.
Lead business development, sales pipeline management, and deal structuring.
Build scalable sales processes, playbooks, and performance tracking systems.
Identify and pursue new revenue streams, partnerships, and upselling opportunities.
Collaborate with marketing leadership to ensure campaigns directly drive qualified leads and revenue.
Implement account‑based marketing (ABM), inbound, and outbound strategies.
Position the agency as a thought leader in digital marketing through brand and content initiatives.
Ensure a high level of client satisfaction and retention through strong account management.
Partner with delivery teams to maximise client lifetime value (CLV).
Establish a feedback loop between clients, sales, and operations to continually improve offerings.
Implement CRM and sales enablement tools to manage the full client lifecycle.
Use data‑driven insights to optimise sales efficiency, marketing ROI, and client success metrics.
Regularly report revenue performance and forecasts to the CEO and executive team.
Hire, train, and develop top‑performing revenue teams.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and growth.
Act as a member of the executive leadership team contributing to overall company strategy.
5+ years in senior revenue leadership roles (Head of Sales, VP of Sales, CRO, or similar).
Proven track record of scaling revenue in a B2B services or digital marketing environment.
Strong understanding of sales cycles, lead generation, and client success in the agency world.
Experience managing distributed / remote teams.
Proficiency with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, or similar) and sales / marketing automation tools.
Exceptional strategic, analytical, and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to inspire both internal teams and clients.
Experience in scaling a digital agency from 7 to 8 figures in revenue.
Knowledge of SaaS, performance marketing, or related industries.
Strong network of potential partners and clients in the digital marketing ecosystem.
