A healthcare organization in Wales is seeking a leader in remote clinical care to guide service delivery and enhance patient outcomes. The role involves collaboration with various health sectors, leading remote assessment strategies, and ensuring high-quality clinical practices. Ideal candidates should have significant clinical experience, a Level 7 education in relevant fields, and the ability to lead and innovate within healthcare. This position offers a chance to make a meaningful impact in patient care across the region.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Welsh Ambulance Services University NHS Trust (WAST) within the Quality, Safety and Patient Experience Directorate, supporting service users across Wales to access the right care, treatment, and health information for urgent and emergency health needs. As part of our clinical leadership structure, you’ll play a pivotal role in the ongoing development and transformation of remote clinical care for patients assessed by our remote integrated care teams (NHS 111 / 999).
You’ll work in partnership with internal colleagues and external partners across urgent, unscheduled, emergency, and primary care settings to develop and maintain high‑quality assessment strategies, guidelines, treatment pathways, and quality performance indicators. You’ll also contribute to education, research, clinical practice, and leadership activities that shape remote service delivery in line with national clinical careers frameworks.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and / or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
