Remote Locum SEN & Education Lawyer – 3+ Months
Job summary
A legal recruitment agency is seeking a Locum SEN & Education Lawyer to join a local authority in the South West. This remote role is for an initial term of 3 months with an hourly rate of up to £60 via umbrella. The ideal candidate should be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Legal Executive, with a solid background in SEN & Education law. Responsibilities include managing SEND matters and tribunal attendance. Full-time is preferred, but part-time may be considered.
Qualifications
- Strong background in SEN & Education law within a Local Authority.
- Confidence to manage caseload effectively.
- Ability to attend tribunal hearings on behalf of the local authority.
Responsibilities
- Manage own caseload of SEND matters.
- Attend tribunal hearings and advise on appeals.
- Assist with client enquires related to EHCP and SEND.
