An innovative online education platform is seeking an Online Lecturer in Psychology with a PhD and experience in Higher Education. The role involves online teaching, personal tutoring, and dissertation supervision. This part-time position is available until December 2025 and may be extended. The ideal candidate is passionate about online education and student development.

Online Lecturer Psychology role at FutureLearn. As part of this role, you will be required to undertake online teaching and assessment, personal tutoring as well as online dissertation supervision. In the first instance the role is part-time (0.5) available until December 2025 but may be extended.
Essential
- A PhD within a relevant subject area
- Experience of teaching and learning within post-graduate Higher Education
- Eligibility for Fellowship of the HEA
- Excellent team working and communication skills
- Experience teaching on BPS accredited programme
- Experience of teaching developmental psychology
- Experience of teaching and supervising qualitative research methods dissertations
Desirable
- Experience of and passion for online teaching and learning
- Experience of dissertation / research project supervision
- Experience of teaching and learning within post-graduate UK Higher Education
- Membership or eligibility for membership of the BPS
- Experience of the role of personal tutor
