Online Lecturer Psychology role at FutureLearn. The opportunity

As part of this role, you will be required to undertake online teaching and assessment, personal tutoring as well as online dissertation supervision. In the first instance the role is part-time (0.5) available until December 2025 but may be extended.

Essential

  • A PhD within a relevant subject area
  • Experience of teaching and learning within post-graduate Higher Education
  • Eligibility for Fellowship of the HEA
  • Excellent team working and communication skills
  • Experience teaching on BPS accredited programme
  • Experience of teaching developmental psychology
  • Experience of teaching and supervising qualitative research methods dissertations

Desirable

  • Experience of and passion for online teaching and learning
  • Experience of dissertation / research project supervision
  • Experience of teaching and learning within post-graduate UK Higher Education
  • Membership or eligibility for membership of the BPS
  • Experience of the role of personal tutor
